This book was a slow burn for me. Lots of twists and turns. Nothing like I thought it would be. I feel like the author could have spent more time in the lives of each husband whereas some husbands barely got any backstory. Over all it was a good read.

I don’t know why but I wasn’t that shocked about this book. It just didn’t grab me and it was fine but I don’t see what the hype was.

This is not the typical type of book I read. But I really did enjoy it. The end even got my a little teary eyed. I loved reading about Evelyn’s love life and such. But the losses she endured hit home in a few aspects for me.
