I liked this book, but I didn’t love it. Was slow to begin with and then picked up 2/3 of the way through and then abruptly finished. Wanted more from this book. But overall worth the read if you love TJR!
One of my favorite things is when people love something. Not other people, or possessions but hobbies, pursuits, or careers. Taylor Jenkins Reid does an excellent job of showing what her characters love. Malibu RIsing was a story about a family and the Shenanigans of daily life against the backdrop of surfers and singers. It was fun. I was glad for the story.
I really loved this book. It was my first by this author and I just loved every second of it and COULD NOT put it down. It was fast paced and there wasn’t a second of boring. Such an amazing story and just, ughhh, loved it so much.
