General Book Clubs

Readers that love to explore different genres and socialize with others!

The Ventura Women’s Book Club started in 2009. We meet on the 4th Saturday of each month from 11 AM to 12:30 PM at the residence of one of our members.  We are currently at capacity and not inviting new members.

A monthly book club with a virtual meeting via Zoom, so you can join from anywhere in the world (if time zones suit!). 

A local book club that meets in-person once a month on the fourth Tuesday in the Conference Room at the Morris County Library in Whippany, NJ from 6:30-7:45 pm. Please only join this book club if you plan on committing to reading the book club selection and attending the meetings each month. Please change your RSVP if you are not able to attend. Try to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the meeting to socialize and get to know other members. Bring a copy of the book (if you can).

BCPL's Book Club Posse Started December 2014 Meet monthly, last Thursday of every month, except no meeting in December, and November is TBD due to Turkey Day. We read (hopefully) great books and get together at pubs on the east side of the river once a month to chat about them over tasty beverages. We also currently have a Zoom Brunch meeting every month, for those who can't make it to the pub for any reason. The group has been around on assorted platforms for more than 10 years. Join us and discover the joys of being part of a kick-ass book club. We're always happy to meet people who love books as much as we do.

Do you like meeting new people, reading new books, talking about stories and authors? If you are as serious as we all are join our book club! We are all about exploring new books as a group, asking interesting questions and discussing hot topics. We love talking, listening to different points of view and especially get into understanding what everyone interprets from what they read. It's so much fun!

A bookclub for everyone! We read old and new literature selected randomly. Focus is on good conversation about books and other associated topics over a beverage at a cafe.

This book club was founded in 2021 for those who love a good read and a good brew! We meet the first Thursday of the month at 6pm at Tackle Box Brewing in Marlborough, MA and our members enjoy lively conversations around group chosen books.

We choose a book based on a certain theme and discuss the topics presented virtually. Are you ready to discover some new diverse reads?
