Diverse Voices

This is Diverse Voices book club. Everyone is welcome. The focus is on us enjoying reading experiences from quality books that enrich us and which come from an internationally diverse body of authors. Therefore, many cultures and subcultures will be represented.

This is a monthly virtual club that meets on the second Sunday

of every month at 10:00 am (EST).

You can add any books under books we want to read. There is a poll and everyone can vote for any number of the books. Admin breaks any ties. I would like book choices that tend towards expanding our vocabulary, sharpening our analytical skills, and exercising our imaginations as well as our ethical thinking.

Good books for our club include any adult: fiction, historical fiction, fantasy, or science fiction, nonfiction, and many others. To get us started, I will choose our first book for our first meeting. There are already books in a poll for you to vote on.

You can add your book choices in the books we want to read section. The poll will close about two days after our monthly meeting and the chosen book will be posted. I will try to provide a link for a free digital copy of the chosen book on the "Meetings" page. Also on the "Meetings" page is a clickable link for optional discussion questions to help guide your reading. We will likely have different discussion questions in our club meeting.

Attendance is optional. Come join our meetings even if you have not yet read the whole book.
