NYC: Conversations on the Classics 📚

Howdy! This book club is a space for NYC-area readers who want to read and discuss (primarily) Classical novels together.

Meetings take place on the last Sunday of each month at Tompkins Square Park in the East Village and we chat about our thoughts, the book's themes, and big-picture takeaways.

We choose our next book at the end of each meeting, so come out if you have suggestions!

I was inspired to create this group as some of my favorite parts of high school and college were book discussion sessions of novels like Things Fall Apart and 1984, and I realized that there's still so many highly regarded works that I've yet to read!
