We meet at the James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art the third Thursday of the month from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We sometimes have authors appear by Zoom to answer questions during the last 45 minutes of the meeting. We read both fiction and nonfiction related in some way to the museum collection. Free to members or with paid museum admission. We began shortly after the museum opened in 2018.

For those who live in the fictional worlds of suspense, thrillers, horrors and mysteries 🩸💀I plan for this to be a lowkey, book-based chit-chat group, but also used as a space to cultivate friendships with other horror-babes 🤓🔪The Facts:🔪 monthly-meetups in-person (San Francisco-only cafes, coffee shops, parks, etc).🔪 book selections will always be creeptastic🔪 open to Gen Z and Millenials onlyAbout the Organizer:Hi there! My name is Ariel and I’m a big fan of all things creepy. A voracious reader with a dark sense of humor, I made this group to connect with others who have the same scary shared interests, starting with books!
