You Shouldn't Have Come Here

If this was a show I wouldn’t call it a thriller because I didn’t feel any real suspense. It was almost a satire on the thriller genre. I think this would have work well as a mystery satire.

I just feel like the whole airbnb guest to host relationship was weird and way too comfortable way too fast.
I did like how this had me guessing almost the whole like all the misdirections and all the characters were sus it could have been anyway.
I just wish the ending wasn't so generic, aside from the one last final twist.
Also just like at what point do you just call it when your vacation goes the way Grace's did

Definitely wasn’t expecting the twist in this, but I do feel like it was just lacking something I can’t put my finger on! Overall it was a fun, easy read, and I honestly couldn’t guess what was happening next!

Not a great book. The build up was drawn out, and the explanations and conclusions all loosely tied up in one chapter. The metaphors were obnoxious and the characters, all unlikeable. I really wanted to like this cause I thought the plot was interesting and could make for a great story but like most mystery/thriller books these days, just an erotic romance with a mysterious plot that any one could predict. 1/10

This reads like a dark romance with a fairly predictable "thriller" ending. It read fine, but this probably isn't what anyone is expecting to read given the genre.
