Treasure Island (Signet Classics)

Read via the Craftlit podcast, this turned out to be something unexpected that I really enjoyed. Who knew Long John Silver was a complex man? I thought he was just a cartoon pirate. How about that?

I thought the book was riotously fun. It's a shame that I was not able to appreciate this when I was much younger. I like to believe that young boys and girls are constantly questioning themselves about their own bravery and morality.

8 Loved the story, kept you guessing, and Long John silver is a complex and likeable character despite his flaws. More than anything I love how fantastical it was.
