Hard to get into - main character is tough to like, but it wraps up in such a way I couldn't help but root for Jade and ended up liking the book overall.
I am so excited to read the finale of this trilogy! Chainsaw was my second book read by Jones and I immediately jumped into its sequel (Don't Fear the Reaper).
Jones does a great job of building relationships not only between characters but with characters and their environment. Indian Lake, Terra Nova, and the whole of Proofrock create such a violently beautiful world for Jade and others around her!
Took me a while to get into this book and the main character, but the ending chapters certainly were much more fast-paced and not at all where I thought things were going. Overall, this was a fun horror/mystery book and I look forward to reading the second book in the trilogy!
