Madame Bovary

I know this is an old book, and that it has inspired many great movies and tv-dramas. It was also different for it's time, I wouldn't call it progressive though... It's a masterpiece, but I just didn't like it. It reminded me a lot of Anna Karenina, except that I liked Anna Karenina.
