So many important stories conveyed here. Tales of false imprisonment of so many vulnerable people. Stevenson eloquently and simply shares many of their stories and humbly describes his agency’s efforts to help them and influence change in policy and the legal system in the USA. Inspiring. Well written. Poignant.

Made me care a lot more about the criminal justice system and the lack thereof. Systemic and institutionalized racism is so transparent after reading this book.
