Interesting to read about a real race horse in 19th century America. But the story around it was not very compelling and for me, was a tedious read. Especially since some of the events were fabricated for sake of telling a story. That’s fiction, rather than historic fiction. The modern day plot line was unsatisfactory and disappointing.
