Holly

Stephen King’s Holly marks the triumphant return of beloved King character Holly Gibney. Readers have witnessed Holly’s gradual transformation from a shy (but also brave and ethical) recluse in Mr. Mercedes to Bill Hodges’s partner in Finders Keepers to a full-fledged, smart, and occasionally tough private detective in The Outsider. In King’s new novel, Holly is on her own, and up against a pair of unimaginably depraved and brilliantly disguised adversaries.

This book was good but I have to be honest and say that the story did not pull me in. I did not find myself craving reading the next chapter - I think because I knew how it would end from the start, I was not as lost in the story as I wanted to be

Love Stephen King, love Holly Gibney, love this book. The author's nite at the end is great and because I listened to the audio books, I got to hear King read it which was excellent.

Loved the mystery/thriller aspect but way too much political/Covid storyline in it. I read to escape real world issues so I was not thrilled to have to read about it… I’d rather watch the news

Great story, but very political.
