Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine

I highly recommend this book! It’s heartwarming, moving, and funny through and through. Pick up a copy, you won’t be disappointed.

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine was different from what I expected. It didn't grab me from the first page or even the second chapter. My thoughts were, what is wrong with this girl? But as she opened up and became more social, I found that I was invested in her. Part of the reason I loved Eleanor so much was that I could see bits of myself in her.
Aren't we all, at times, socially awkward? Need help with how to interact with people?

Started off a bit slow, and Eleanor seemed like an unsympathetic character, but sticking with it was well worth it. Eleanor's development as she learns to handle her past is moving and intense, and seeing her relationships grow is just beautiful. She's a bit bonkers but she's not a nutter :) The audio version was brilliantly read too. Utterly fantastic book, highly recommended.
