Omg, this whole series has me constantly on the edge of my seat. Not to mention, the spice is really nice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️😅😋

I absolutely loved this book.

I can relate to Poppy as a character, especially in a way she overthinks. I spent a lot of this book wanting to take her by the shoulders and shake some sense into her about her feelings, but at the same time I think her evolution was very realistic and understandable. I had started listening to this book almost immediately and it did not disappoint me. Poppy and Casteel have such great banter and chemistry. Listening to more about this new world and Poppy's journey as she figures out herself was as amazing as I could have expected. Her endless curiosity is so refreshing. This book was a roller-coaster ride that takes you through one after another of hair-raising adventures. It has romance, intrigue, mystery, battles, politics, vampyr, wolvens, and much more. Enjoy.

Okay ... honestly, this book was amazing. The 🌶 level was 10/10, the plot was 10/10, and the characters were a 10/10. I love the enemies to lovers trope, but what I love most about those is how they fight their feelings towards each other because its "bad/wrong" to love/feel that way about the love interest.
