Ahh the weekend--Those precious two days where we get to catch up on emails, social media posts, and of course...reading. This month, you can also make a difference during your leisure time! We launched a charitable giving campaign near and dear to our heart that benefits Worldreader, a world literacy non-profit dedicated to providing underserved communities with digital reading solutions that help improve learning outcomes, workforce readiness, and gender equity. Since 2010, Worldreader has provided access to digital books to over 18 million readers in 48 countries. Those readers have read 66,597,490 books!
Here’s where YOU come in. For the entire month of November, anytime you and your fellow bookclubbers share a post on social media tagging Bookclubz and using the hashtag #BookclubzGives, we will donate $1 to Worldreader. The campaign culminates on Giving Tuesday, November 30th, when we’ll make a lump donation based on the number of posts throughout the month.
