This book was enjoyable, as most mystery thrillers are to me. I enjoyed finding out what happened even though it was fairly obvious pretty early on - even if I knew the basics, I still liked finding out the details specifically. The portrayal of grief was pretty good, and I spent a lot of the book trying to figure out the antagonist's mental illness.
