I am exhausted. I am emotionally drained. After reading a bunch of so-so books over the past few months, it makes me happy to feel this way (even while I'm feeling so sad).

Memorable characters. Memorable story without having to have the Hansel and Gretel retelling sell. I wouldn't necessarily pair it as a retelling, but I understand why it was called one due to the common elements (house in the woods, Stepmother, breadcrumbs, cage, oven, etc.). I...read more
