Oh. My. God. Blake Crouch has done it again. I didn’t think it was possible to pull me in so completely as he did with his other book Dark Matter. The physics, the emotions, the ramifications to the time space continuum, I mean, what’s not to love? Recursion was an excellent piece of science fiction that tackled the ideas of ethical time travel, and challenged my ideas of right and wrong. What net effect would be enough for me to make a big decision ni the way that these characters did?

While this genre is not typically my go to, I enjoyed this novel! Blake Crouch made his characters relatable, and developed a rich background for them.

Incredibly creative novel. Barry gets caught up in the work of a brilliant scientist, Helena, who is working to develop a way to preserve and restore memories. How they meet is complicated, but everything in this novel is complicated…and recursive. Fascinating.

Black Crouch really takes his readers on a turbulent journey - absolutely loved the book. Fast-paced and I couldn’t stop reading. A realistic twist is given to the topic of time travel as you identify with the characters from page 1 and you start actually believe it is all possible… Great read!
