*3.5 I would’ve liked if the author would’ve explored Ayoola’s thinking process and her point of view. I liked the detail of their backstory and the pacing of the book.

Really enjoyed this one. Surprisingly gripping. I am a crime/thriller type of gal, so it was the easiest read this year. Will definitely recommend 👌🏽
I have a lot of feelings about this book. Some great and some not so great. I thought it was leading up to a really good ending and then, for me, it didn't. But I did enjoy how the book was laid out and that it was a quick read.
Definitely not what I expected. Our main character, Coryede, is a well respected nurse. And she is the big sister to a beautiful woman. And people, particularly men, die around her sister. From knife wounds. What to do? Well blood is thicker than water.
