One of my favorite things about Josh Malerman is the diversity of his books. He writes fast, he writes a lot, and each book of his is different. Inspection is a dystopian-type book that begins slow and careens into a powerful ending. It was too slow for me for the first 2/3 of the book, but the ending was everything I wanted.
