Youth in 1940s New York City. Discovering who you are in the big city. It’s fun, it’s trouble. Decisions that alter your life forever.
Overall the book is fine, it’s just really long and not much exciting happens for the first half. The last few chapters were the best in my opinion.
First Half - A lot of sex and being young in NYC. Not spicy enough for me to really care.
Second Half- A lot of thought provoking moments about how women have been treated throughout history, feminism, and the mental health affects of war.
