Incredible. Horrifying. Reads like a spy novel. I couldn’t put it down and I can’t stop thinking about it.

This is so insane. I knew a decent amount of this story going into it just from following Ronan Farrow's reporting and interviews as it was breaking, but the levels and lengths that people went to to protect these predators is unfathomable. The women in this story are so inspiring and brave and Farrow goes to great lengths to tell his story while keeping the focus centrally and intently on them. I didn’t think I was interested in this book because I figured I knew the basics about the #metoo movement but this book blew my mind. It’s All the President’s Men + Bad Blood + pick your favorite true-crime thriller.

I honestly think I need to reread this because it covers so many important topics. 1) The importance of ethical and dedicated journalism, 2) the power and often evil of the good-old-boys network, 3) the inequality of a justice syste...read more
