Breakfast at Tiffany's and Three Stories

Knew little to nothing about this, but it's definitely not what I was expecting from what I'd heard about the movie. Nothing overly interesting, but the characters were just interesting enough.

This was so different from the movie. Capote's descriptions of Holly Golightly is at turns heartbreaking and charming, much like most of his short stories. She is a tragic character, trapped by her own desire to remain unattached.

I am such a fan of the movie, I wanted to see if the book was similar. I was impressed and intrigued by the author and their writing style. The book differs from the movie as Holly Golightly is not as romanticized as much as the plot as a whole.
