Wow. This fictionalized account of life in Milan during WWII is a powerful glimpse into the reality of war. This story of Pino begins as he is 17 and continues thru the end of the war. We see underground trips across the alps with Jews, life as a nazi conscript and so much mistreatment of people at the hands of the nazi war machine. This is a true story!
