мое самое главное ощущение от этой книги - в очередной раз потрясает, насколько америка непрогрессивная. от требований к первым леди молчать и улыбаться - и это в 21 веке - до абсолютно непонятного цепляния за вторую поправку. серьезно, сколько школ должны расстрелять прежде чем страна увидит связь между этими событиями и законодательством, регулирующим оружие? очень вдохновляющ пример австралии, которая после массовой стрельбы в 96 году через 12...read more

I did not know her very much except she used to a First Lady in America. I found much about how she was felt as being a minority, woman, mother at the same time in this book. This is so empowerment book.

It’s hard to finish this book and not feel like you know Michelle Obama. She’s no longer just a political figure, but she’s a mother, a neighbor, an activist, and a friend. My respect for her grew even more upon learning about more of her life.

I mean, I feel like all memoirs have to be a 10. They are literally that persons story. As long as it feels genuine and true to them I feel as if I got something out of it, and this story did feel genuine and real. I loved to get a peek into the mind of former First Lady Michelle Obama— in their run as POTUS and FLOTUS I was old enough to be aware of their significance, but too young to really follow their journey in the white house.
