Welcome! We are a bit new and a group of literary minded people that are eager to read new books this year. We meet monthly on Sundays and pick from a diversified selection of authors.

Aight, so boom! What happens when you bring together two millennial women with locs who also share a love of books, cocktails, and great conversation? You get the Loc’d & Lit book club! This club was created by two life-long friends, Alanna and Trish, who are in the beginning stages of their loc journey and who also share a mutual love of all things books! We hope to build a community of fellow readers where we can share our voices and opinions as they are not always heard or highlighted in the current mainstream book-sphere. So join us monthly as we discuss our latest read and touch upon all themes relevant to women today, whether it be: relationships, parenting, career, race, or life’s constant twists and turns. We hope to explore it all as we talk about the ways that we are inspired and grow though our favorite books.  So may our locs thrive, our cocktails quench, and our pages turn - Its Loc’d & Lit!! Bibliophiles Unite is dedicated to highlighting, reading, and discussing books by and about BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color). This book club is hosted by bookish content creator BookinItWithAhtiya (on YouTube, Instagram & TikTok).

A book club focused on books that inspire the Global Majority to tap into their Spirituality for collective and individual liberation. Nuturing a deeper sense of identity and a deeper sense of self.

We read queer science-fiction and fantasy! Our monthly social bookclub meets between the San Fernando Valley and Culver City. We follow strict Covid guidelines to ensure everyone's safety.

A book club for people who need a good cry once in a while :')

Hi! My name is Elvira, I am new in Staines, U.K. and haven’t been able to find any local book clubs, so decided to create one myself!  Anyone that loves reading books is welcomed as long as you are respectful and kind to others.
 This book club will be mostly focused on Fiction, Fantasy and Science- fiction books, but I read also non-fiction so open to switch it up occasionally. I will aim to have diversity within the books chosen, aiming to read more female authors and/or authors from different countries.
This aims to be a local friendly space to have book club events, but also other occasional bookish social events such as literary walks, or others.  The book club will meet once a month on the first Saturday of the month in a local venue.
