Loved this witty, modern read! Set in the 50/60s era, the main character, Elizabeth was a stunning portrait of confidence, intelligence, courage, and might. She didn’t take anyone’s crap and really enunciated the true importance of womanhood and science. Such an amazing character that emulated such strength and resourcefulness. This book had me grinning and laughing, teary-eyed and feisty. So well written and such an empowering read!
I scoffed, I laughed, I cried and I cheered. There were times when I felt so seen by Elizabeth Zott, times when I felt sad for her, worried for her, and times I just shook my head for her. I was surprised how much I loved this book, it came highly recommended to me, and I will do the same- a 10/10 for having it all in small doses, a perfect equation if you will
From the moment I read the first page, I did not put it down. Fast and easy! Loved the story and its characters.
